The South Dakota Pheasant Preserve season starts in September and goes through March every year. The regular season opener is the 3rd weekend in October, and that season lasts till the end of the year.

These can be purchased online on
the SD GF&P website:

If you already have a state small game license, it is valid and you do not need to purchase a preserve license. |
